Nathan Archibald is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Salt Lake City office.  He joined the firm in 2022.  Nathan specializes in representing consumer facing companies in class action, false advertising and product liability cases.  His representative and class action defense litigation experience spans state, federal and multi-district courts across the country, and includes representation of consumer companies of all stripes – from consumer finance, to CPG, electronics, household and outdoor goods.  He also defends against mass-arbitration of consumer claims, where he has managed a portfolio of arbitrations for global e-commerce platforms and fin-tech companies. Nathan has represented clients faced with challenging product liability and recall issues, and worked directly with state and federal regulators on rulemaking and enforcement as it relates to consumer protection laws.  Licensed in multiple countries, Nathan also represents companies in international litigation, including before ICC and ICDR panels.

Nathan regularly presents to business and industry groups on compliance and legal risks across the consumer product life cycle. Prior to joining Quinn Emanuel, Nathan worked at large law firms in the US and Australia, and worked outside of the law in business roles at film, media and sports companies.
