Kathryn Bonacorsi

Kathryn is a litigator with experience representing plaintiffs and defendants across a wide range of complex commercial disputes. Her experience includes contract disputes, shareholder disputes and derivative cases, sports law, cross-border disputes, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property disputes. She has significant experience litigating high-stakes, high-dollar cases. Kathryn has appeared and argued in a variety of forums, including in state and federal courts and in arbitrations.
Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Kathryn worked as a clerk to the Honorable Justice Eileen Bransten in the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court of New York. While in law school, Kathryn interned for the Honorable Paul G. Gardephe, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.

- Representing the Washington Nationals in its ongoing dispute with the Baltimore Orioles regarding the fair market value of the club’s broadcast rights.
- Successfully defended MHR Fund Management and the directors of Loral Space & Communications Inc. in expedited litigation in Delaware Chancery Court seeking to enjoin a combination transaction between satellite companies Loral and Telesat.
- Represented shareholder in a derivative lawsuit against L Brands, and obtained landmark settlement requiring the company to adopt significant corporate reforms.
- Representing funds associated with Hound Partners in a securities fraud opt-out case against Valeant Pharmaceuticals, its former executives, and various investment banks.
